Since 1949 there have been several colleges on the site of the University of Applied Sciences Worms, in 1978 they merged into the University of Applied Sciences Rheinland-Pfalz. In 1996 the FH Worms gained independence. Today, ca 3,000 students may choose between various courses in the core areas business studies, computer science, and tourism.
