The University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration, Police and Administration of Law - Güstrow is a public institution founded in 1991. It is a branch of the ministry of the interior and offers places for study and professional teaching to 550 students. The FHöVPR consists of three institutes, seven residential houses and one gymnasium. During their studies the applicants have the status of civil servants and are granted a provisional salary up to 960€.
