The University of Applied Sciences for Health Care was founded in 2009. It is the first public university to exclusively offer courses in health care science. Students of the HSG will have the opportunity to deepen and apply their acquired knowledge alongside their studies by means of internships and working in institutions providing apprenticeship. Each year the University of Applied Sciences for Health Care Bochum invites 200 students.
