The IB University Berlin was founded in 2007 and is a state-recognized private university. The university has additional locations in Cologne and Stuttgart. Further locations in Hamburg and Munich are in planning. Currently, approx. 500 students are enrolled at the university. Besides their courses with a mix of practically-oriented and theoretical studies the university offers possibilities to enroll in distance learning degree programmes. Another characteristic of the university are its small classes/groups. The outcome is an individual and more personal education.
